....this is obviously based on your extensive and thorough research into English fans knowledge of sports that you've undertaken, you fat yank.
Do you remember Jim Lampley having a belly laugh at you guys and your betting on Ricky Hatton over Pacquaio? It is no secret that the English overrate most of their athletes. What's worse is how highly English fans rate their soccer program(year in and year out the English program is one of the biggest disappointments). I think you'd have to be blind to believe that majority of English fans are deluded when they rank their athletics in comparison to the rest of the world.
You may say the same thing about Americans but time in and time out they excel at the world level. Olympics and majority of world level sports they do extremely well. You can make excuses about size or quantity but when we just look at performance America has done well, and although America is very patriotic, they do show up much more than the English in world events.
You'd struggle to find an Englishman that genuinely rates our football, we're ****e and we know it. Our media might big them up to be something they're not but everyone knows our national side is ****e.
You guys despise the Klitschkos; at least we appreciate them as genuinely 'great' HWs.
GTFOH, douche.
That isn't the case at all. Americans do not despise the Klitschkos, we just find them boring. Americans embrace all fighters, from all over. The reason they don't get on tv here is because they are boring.
Remember America has always loved boxing, created the ****** UFC, and replaced its old past time of baseball with a very violent game of the NFL. Americans love action. Call them ****** but they need action and they need fast paced action, something the Klitschkos obviously don't bring to the table.

Obviously the fact that the USA has a much larger population than the UK has nothing whatsoever to do with it...

The best footballer in the MLS is an ancient english player (Beckham) and we consistantly do better than the USA in football.

You are very ill informed it's a well known fact in England that the national team are terrible.
The bolded has no relevance to this conversation whatsoever it does highlight that you are the overly nationalistic one however.
I'm watching a Top 10 Light Heavyweight (Tony Bellew) fight a guy that's not ranked for a vacant non cipher/non descript belt and the crowd loves it...
If Carl Froch looks impressive against or KO's Yusaf Mack(won 31 (KO 17) + lost 4 (KO 4) + drawn 2 KO% 45.95) watch his expert salesmanship skills kick in to overdrive during the post fight interviews. "I shook up the world" "I'm ready for ________". He's just doing his job as a fighter/salesman.. Watch the boxing media and fans help him sell the hype, that's the insult to the Martial Art. He already failed his Black Belt Exam, cut it out
It's crazy how much hype prospects or top 10 contenders get over there. Khan was fighting on ppv before he won his first title. The cream of the crop make more money in the states but the up and comers make way more money over there.

A) That is the media hyping a fight up to people who don't know a lot about boxing. The word is gullible, not delusional. When you have a whole country where sports betting is perfectly legal, ****** people will make ****** bets occasionally. I bet Lampley didn't mention all the Brits that bet on pacquiao either.
B) Go on twitter and find me a single English person that rates our football team as anything better than **** and I'll say well done to you.
English/British sports fans are both passionate and knowledgeable, there's no delusion to it.
