    Yes that's what they're suggesting.

Retreat mode and bruised ribs, lmao. I guess Margarito can punch. He went from kayoing guys to being kod. Margarito was never a puncher.

"Cotto ran", "he didn't man up". GTFOH. He out boxed him and damaged his eye even worse.

"Well if the doctor didn't stop it, Margarito would have knocked him out".

Well if Margarito wasn't a flat footed slugger who didn't move his ****in head he would have avoided some of those shots to his face and been able to finish the fight.
Anyone that truly believes that is a moron. Again, the first fight, Cotto was being hurt by hard, clean shots very early in the fight and gradually broken down with a poor game plan. The second fight he hardly got hit with any clean punches like he did in the first fight. He used the distance much better, clinched in close, turned Margarito more and made him reset more. He also got off first in nearly every exchange.

He wasn't getting stopped. It was a completely different fight and Margarito wasn't remotely as effective. Cotto didn't get hit and hurt to the body at all in the second fight. The first fight had some brutally clean body shots throughout the whole fight, and Cotto would just stand there and take them.

I found the definition of Doctors stoppage. Dirk D, Daggum...peep this..

Doctors Stoppage: noun/verb- Two words created by two men who saw their favorite fighter lose a fight because a ring doctor rescued the losing fighter from losing his sight/life while the losing fighter WAS coming on.

The second round tells you all you need to know. First fight, Cotto landed his usual eye catching combos, but, Margarito lands a right hand to the body about a minute in that literally doubles Cotto over after which Margarito lands some big combos plus a right to the head that staggers Cotto and then he basically takes a pounding to the body and head. That didn't happen once in the second fight at any point.

                  From 5.0 mins on.

Do you think Robert Garcia should have stopped the fight? Obviously Margarito wouldn't have wanted him to but that's beside the point.

Losing his life? Yeah he looked in real danger of losing his life when he was laughing and "wooing" at all of Cotto's punches.
