Rios-Alvarado FOTY candidate?

Alvarado and Rios have been in better fights themselves. I think it's because the fight lived up to its expectations, and ESPN is more affiliated with ESPN now. There have been other fights just as good they just didn't get the pub.

I don't get how Salido-Lopez 2 is better than Rios-Alvarado. It was a one-sided ass kicking for all but one or two rounds. Rios-Alvarado was skillful, competitive, had two guys taking monstrous punches, what more could you ask for?

I think the Quillin fight was better honestly.

Rios-Alvarado is certainly a FOTY candidate, but Quillin-N'Dam so far has my vote. I also think Matthysse-Ajose was good, along with all the other fights that have been discussed in this thread.
