    NEW YORK — Devon Alexander’s message was clear.

    As he stood before a ballroom full of people, the former 140-pound champion tried his best to make sure Randall Bailey realizes that he is not Mike Jones. Way down on the scorecards June 8 in Las Vegas, Bailey bombarded the previously unbeaten Jones with power punches in the 10th and 11th rounds to win the vacant IBF welterweight title by technical knockout.

            Lol well Alexander doesn't exactly do anything to "win fans". Bailey accidentally knocking him out cold would be hilarious.

              this is going to be a boring fight..why do they televise these fights ? quillin and main event will be good ones...i think cano will get stopped due to cuts

                Devon is a good boxer and has good speed and form in the ring--- But its very easy to hate on Alexander. He needs to show more grit to get some respect. the Maidana that fought Soto-karass would have knocked Alexander's lights out...

                  Wladimir Klitschko has shown that jab, jab, grab is a winning strategy. Why hate on Devon Alexander for doing the same?

                  Plus the guy has one of the best resumes in boxing. Whether you like him or not you can't deny that he has the guts to fight everyone they put in front of him. You really can't ask for more than that.
