How much longer can Rios relay on his POWER to get kats out???

It almost didn't work Vs Abril....it got him through his last one....and they are great damn fights....love to watch him go at it...but I have to wonder at what point will his power not be enough...you would think at some point it will catch up to him...or can he make an entire career outta banngin kats to get the out of there???

As long as his chin holds up he'll continue to be a problem.

Once someone his own size outboxes him.

We saw it vs Abril and you can blame it on the weight but the fact is that the dude looked lost in there, not just drained. Alvarado is not a great boxer nor a pure one and we saw him beating Rios from the outside as well as on the inside. But it didn't matter cause twice in a row the cards were fixed.

I think his power should carry over to 147lbs but any higher, it probably takes a hit.

ive notice everytime rios is mentioned abrils names follows right behind. That was just a bad night for rios everyone has them, im sure even the so called greats have had gifts in the past. however rios does have good head movement and was landing some heavy shots on alvarado since rd1.

With a good chin and punch, Rios will always do well vs other ****ers. However, Rios will lose to the first fighter he faces that has good defence and hand speed (barring a horrible decision). The only other advantage Rios had was size, and now he's moved up in weight so thats gone. A good chin and a decent punch seldom makes up for average (at best) hand speed, poor balance, and bad defence vs world class fighters

He'll always rely on it, because that's who Rios is. He's a brawler with a great chin who has to hurt guys to win fights. It will work with some fighters, and won't with others.

Abril CLEARLY beat Rios. And Rios-Alvarado was not a draw up to the stoppage how the cards were showing. I had given Rios the 1st round and that was it (maybe 2 rounds). And Im not even gonna talk about the stoppage.

I also thought Acosta was beating Rios till Acosta started getting dropped. Too bad that guy isn't too durable. Even Abril dropped him...

he's never been a one punch knockout puncher.

he breaks guys down. he'll still do it at 140. he's a big guy.
