I am still not convinced that Pavlik is as washed as most fans believe. But in this fight he doesn't have a prayer.

I got some news from D.George facebook:
...............
“Thank you everyone for the tremendous support and kind words. Yes, I lost. But I am far from done. I will return to the ring ASAP and pursue my dreams. If it was easy, it wouldn’t be worth it. I love you guys. Ill be back!!! Ps. I’m ok, few broke ribs and my pride is hurt but I will prevail. Thanks tons”
– Donovan George
...............
■Adonis Stevenson got his hand injured in the 3rd round.
■But still broke few ribs of Donovan chest on the 5th round.
► If Adonis Stevenson hands were fine, we would assist a KO on the 5th round.
■ Go on YouTube or DailyMotion, and type (Adonis Stevenson Don George), and select the Tube...
■ Watch the fight to the END...
- Andre Ward clan decided to fight Pavlik, instead of taking Adonis Stevenson.
- But it's OK, Stevenson will inevitably crush Carl Froch in Febuary 2013, Lets GO...
Adonis Stevenson is FASTER ►►►

I want to see Ward fight 3 times in 2013, to make up for only fighting once this year. February, July, and December. If that happens, this isn't totally bad. Pavlik is a decent stay busy fight for Ward at this point. Would rather see Pavlik fight Chavez, Abraham, Bika, Rodriguez, Stevenson, etc.

Kelly Pavlik
If Kelly can keep his head on straight he has a good chance with anyone from 160 to 175. If he can stay away from his demons he could make noise and money in the money division. As DK would say, He's got the right connections and the right complexion to go far. It's all up to what makes him tick.

Ward needs to kill some time for other opportunities to appear and this is a solid opportunity for Pavlik to get some shine back. It certainly doesn't look the most competitive fight but under the circumstances I am alright with it.
IF not Pavlik for Ward then who, there really isn't a lot out there at the moment for him at 168 or even 175 but given some time some better opportunities could emerge that are better in a years time.

Biggest mistake of Pavlik's career - fighting Bernard Hopkins. Second biggest mistake - fighting Ward.
Funny thing is, both of these are totally unnecessary fights for Pavlik. He should be looking at the the kessler, abraham, froch, & bute's of the world. If those guys are not availible, look at Rodriguez, and guys like that. Just stay away from Ward!
