This is Vanes' fight to win or lose. He is as good a boxer as Lara with much better legs. If he comes in ready to move for 12 he can do it. He does tend to stop, though, and that's usually when he gets hit. He needs to stay in the gym, much running, get ready. He can win this, he has the style.

I like both these fighters. It's about who wants it more no wonder if they are going to make it the main event?

Like I said, he is posting HL of his boy... No need to spend time arguing.

You fanboys may be right. I may be wrong.

Let's wait november to see who owned who.

I like Lara, but I believe Vanes will win this fight.

I always get a good laugh when people act like Lara is some underground king, yet when someone mentions Vanes (who is ranked just as high) people are like "huh?!?!!? that doodz a bum!!!!?" Because Vane's hasn't fought any contenders........well, he's still young, and he brought his career up slowly, ALA Canelo. Why is it that Alvarez is this hot, young boxing stud, but Vanes sucks? Just dumbass fans, that's all. I've said this time and time again, PPV numbers, tickets sold, etc etc... mean absolutely NOTHING when judging a fighter on his boxing skills. Pay Per View really ruins boxing, IMO. All it means is that - Fighter A) has a ton of countrymen in the United States, of course he's gonna be a big draw. "PPV" fighters don't want to fight the REAL contenders and the REAL challengers, they want to fight the man who has the most supporters/countrymen in the states so that he gets paid. That's all.

Martinez won't fight Golovkin, not because he sucks but because there aren't millions of Kazakhs/Russians supporting him in the States.
Alvarez won't fight Lara or Vanes, not because they suck, but because there aren't millions of Cubans/Armenians supporting them in the states.
              So on......

Vanes has excellent boxing skills and is just as good (if not better) then Lara. I think a lot of people on NSB are going to be in for a big surprise, come fight night. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if Lara beat Vanes either. I just don't see it.

Too many good boxers can severely underrated, and too many not-so-good boxers get severely overrated. Floyd, Canelo, among others delude the general public into thinking they fight the best fighters, making them the "P4P kings" because they are fighting someone on PPV and they make a million dollar gate. And the general public and casual fans just go with it, ruining the sport because it further separates the hardcore fans from having the REAL competitive match ups we should have.
