Vic looked like he obviously didn't belong in the class yesterday but was doing what he had to do. If he can make 118 comfortable I'm all about it.

I'd be down to see him and Agbeko do it again as well. Crossroads fight, Mosley-Vargas style.
I don't know honestly, I would hope he can still get back down. Vic was on a whole different level but Del Valle at times made me think he was gonna shift the fight towards his direction. I would love that rematch, simply because Darchinyan is much better than he displayed the night he fought Agbeko, I'd still like the Mares rematch even though that'll be at 122.

It says Mares lost a fight in the article. Mares is 24-0-1, article says 24-1

Close fight, that I felt Mares won.

Would like to see Mares fight Donaire/Nishioka, that is if he beats Moreno, which is a very big IF. If he loses to Moreno, Abner should immediately rematch Darchinyan and erase all doubt.

I just rewatched the first Mares fight. Why the hell would Vic want that fight again? He had a gash on Mares head from a butt (accidental) that was bleeding into his eye for the entire fight, a point taken away from Mares, and still lost. Once Mares got the timing down, he battered Vic. Vic got one flash knockdown, and other than that he was outclassed. Watch the last couple rounds again. Vic is reduced to running and holding to survive. Vic is older now, and Mares knows how to fight his weird style already. Vic gets dismantled it if they rematch.

vic hasnt shown his power at bantam or super bantamweight

and no...it was darchinyan's dirty tactics, holding, butting etc that made the fight close. also his flash kd of mares didnt help the scores

mares wasnt just outboxing him for much of the fight, he was battering him, showing his power

That was a really close fight. Mares does have bigger business to deal with, but if he loses to Moreno a Darchinyan rematch wouldn't be a bad fight.

Vic was timing Mares with left hands the entire fight. Bullcrap it was only close because of rough tactics. Who was low blowing who the entire fight?
