Good win & good performance by Darchinyan..Orlandito did the wrong fight.. Even thou his corner was giving him the right instructions, for some reason he was not listening & fought Darchinyan's fight & paid for it..He did show a good chin & heart, but needs to wise up his game..The old Fox was too wise for the young warrior & schooled & ruffed him up..Orlandito has shown better boxing skills in the past & should have boxed Darchinyan from the outside & go to the body more & time Darchinyan as he lunged in cause he did hurt Darchinyan..Hopefully he'll learn from this & come back better..Orlandito still has Championship material & has the potential to become a World Champ in the future..

vic looked good but againts an unproven fighter who could'nt adjust for **** and had too much to prove..i dont really see him winning a title at 122 expet if he fights rigo..that fight is a toss up IMO ...

Can I PLEASE get a button to shut off the audio from Roys mic? God damn that was hard to listen to. Roy says that Del Valle needs to brawl because "you cant box with a guy like Vic...that would be worse for him. Vic has too much experience." You also probably noticed how many times he called Del Valle "kid" or "the little guy" because just like the man Nonito is fighting next week (or as Roy refers to him "whats his name") Roy didnt ever bother to learn the fighters name or anything about him. Then at one point Roy is freaking out over how "the little guy" is taking too many shots and that it might be time to stop it. That lasts for a round or two, followed by "He aint kill'n em with those shots, and if he aint kill'n em, why rob "the kid" of his Chavez JR moment? His knees aint buckled, so let him fight." Oh, and I got sick of hearing how proud Roy was of all the dirty pool Vic used in the fight. He even suggested that Del Valle learn some low blows, head butts and elbows. Jesus tapdancing Christ HBO...you cant get an ex fighter who gives a ****?

On to the fight. Vic fought the best fight he could, and got a kid in front of him who fought the wrong fight and was confused when presented with Vics style. He pulled out every trick in the book to win, but hey, if the ref doesnt call a single one of them I guess...

Very happy. Would like him to go back down to 118 though and get another title there. After that, retire with the legacy of a great, HOF career.
