If Mcklin is so good and powerful why don't he enter ther ring with Golovkin? What? That's too much?
    Well I though so.

Macklin gave a good fight against Martínez, but he still was dropped twice and lost via TKO.

Martínez is way too good for Macklin, but the Irishman should try to get another title holder like Geale (I think he could beat him, especially because at least IMO he defeated Sturm)

I couldn't agree more. Macklin won a few rounds and had Martinez a little worried, then Maravilla's power started to tell and it became too much.

I'd like to see Macklin have another go at Sturm or fight Murray in a huge domestic showdown and then go for Geale, who I think he beats.

i don't know what fight those judges were watching......they must've been listening to hbo's bias commentators, because the fight i saw, macklin only won 2 or 3 rds. at most and that's being generous.

I hope HBO management has the good sense to televise his next fight.

Warriors like Macklin will improve their ratings and increase the popularity of the sport.

Chavez walked straight forward, making it easy for Martinez to get his punches off. Macklin actually sat back and BOXED Martinez which brought him success in the fight.
Wlad and Vitali are both washed up. Haye is still in his prime. I know styles make fights, but Macklin fought a totaly different Martinez than Chavez and that was evident from the opening bell. Martinez STARTED the fight, throwing all types of combos. Against Macklin, Martinez started off slow, and didnt even try. Martinez woud CRUSH Macklin. Chavez cn take his power, but are you forgetting that Macklin got STOPPED?

He had his chance, he won maybe 2 or 3 rounds and then he got KTFO!! If he wants a second bite of the cherry he should earn it against Lee/Barker/Murray/Chavez/GGG etc.

one of the ******ed judges was harold lederman's daughter, julie lederman. she had it a draw!

that's the fight i want to see, geale/macklin. golovkin could face pirog. imo it works out. hopefully those are the fights that happen next. hbo would be wise to televise both of them.
