IDC anymore, if the fight happens whoever loses will have as many excuses as the others. "Pacquiao is out of his prime" "Floyd just came out of jail" "Pacquiao is a congressman" "Floyds legs are gone"
I am looking for Danny Garcia fights Mikey Garcia, Broner, Canelo getting stomped on, Guzman Maidana, Rigo, Nonito, EVERYONE from the Showtime undercard last week.
Those are the fights and fighters I care about now.
Floyd sucks but Manny blows.

Would love to see the fight still but it's a few years overdue. Can't help feel that the fight will be a big anti-climax with neither fighter at their best.

Floyd should be ready by 2013. The playing field is finally leveled. If he's still not satisfied, Paq should rematch Bradly first.
Floyd will embarrass Manny at any time any place any weight , he is a class above him and you will see that when it finally goes down , Floyd is the older fighter here and has slipped from his prime by a long way but he will still beat the brakes of Manny .

What I don't get is why people act like Floyd in 2012 is so different from Floyd in 2010. Floyd was past his prime-still good in 2010 too, same as he is today.
Manny isn't that much different than he was in 2010, the only difference is his last two opponents. He fought Marquez and Bradley, instead of human punching bag Clottey and stand inf ront all day long Margarito.
They would have never fought at their absolute best, given I say Floyd's prime was 2001-2007 and Manny's was like 2002/2003-2009. Hatton was Floyd's last fight where I can say Floyd was in his late prime, just like Cotto was for Manny.
