I don't know why people are reacting so negatively, this fight would sell HUGE. People diss Canelo and say he "doesn't fight anybody good", but then get pissed when he wants to fight Mayweather? lol How the hell does that make sense, crap on him for his weak opponents but also crap on him for trying to fight the absolute best in the sport?


Anyways, I would love to see that fight, I think Canelo is ready for the big boys, it's sink or swim time. I think him against Cotto would be awesome too, as it would give us look at just how well Canelo can handle an elite fighter (albeit slightly past his prime).

Canelo would be a very tough fight for Floyd, he could win but he could certainly lose also. Floyd would have to use all his tricks and if he managed to win I wouldn't be surprised at all that it was his last great performance.

It would be real interesting though and I think riveting.

We talked about Floyd tendencies to cherry pick. Canelo could be the cherry that Floyd would regret picking. I think Saul is more formidable opponent for Floyd then Manny. As I stated before, Floyd realizes the threat that meeting Alvarez in the ring presents. I frankly believe that Mayweather will sooner permanently retire than face Canelo in the ring. New superstar is really born.

I would feel the opposite, plus I think I would be getting great odds for how I feel. I like them both but I have always been a Floyd guy, but all good thing come to an end.
