      No need for rematch, Chavez got owned, even though Martinez was injured, knocked down and hurt Chavez still couldn't finish him, Chavez is ****e.

        No rematch needed. Sergio won the first 11. He got a little over-confident due the boxing lesson he gave Chavez Jr and got caught.

          Why do people always recycle the same old names? I'm a Martinez fan and I believe he should clean out HIS OWN DIVISION FIRST and THEN move on to fight guys like that. There is legit fighters in his own division, who would probably provide him with an even tougher fight..... I hate how fighters chase these big pay days. Can't blame em......but you won't see me crowning any fighter pound for pound king, just because he "fights a PPV superstar." Clean out your own division first, GGG and Pirog are waiting............then we can talk, champ.

          Cotto, Canelo.......these guys make fights cause they have tons and tons of supporters in the states. Not saying they aren't good (cotto is one of my favorite boxers) BUT having tons of supporters/being a PPV

Please.....this dude hasn't even got tested....There is no reason to think any of these guys are better then Pirog, and Golovkin...who Martinez SHOULD be fighting next. Of course he deserves any pay day he can get........but for his own legacy, I want him to clean out the division and fight the fighters who will solidify that legacy. Not fight Canelo Alvarez at a catchweight because he will have 10 millions Mexican fans buying the PPV and getting him paid.... Lame. Oh and as far as Canelo, come on bro.....how about you fight someone with a pulse, such as your upcoming mandatory; Lara/Vanes..... Super lame.

                  Martinez needs a big paycheck at 38 yrs. Say 5 million for a Chavez rematch which he can lose and the next fight for another 5 million then retire.Mmmm????

                      What rematch? a rematch is only for a closed fight
                      not for a one man beat down Martinez schooled
                      Chavez Jr. I think it proves everything that people had been accusing Chavez of being protected.
