YOU said chavez would quit but he didn't did he, say it mang,,,say it , it won't hurt too bad , so just say it, LMAO

The boy became a man tonite, he showed what is in him and what can come out.

All hail to the Chief Sergio the GREAT !!!!!!

Hail to a great fight due to the great drama that was brought out in round 12.

All the years of boxing, you rarely see this happen in amongst the elites

don't spoil this , I confess I was wrong about Chavez brutally KOing Sergio, he just nearly did, but nearly don't win, LOL
Yes, he did show what is in him... A lazy talentless fighter who was in over his head.

Did you notice Harold Lederman basically calling Chavez a ***** for not throwing punches?

Unfortunately for Sergio the most memorable part of the fight was the 12th round (one of the best rounds in years) where he got his ass handed to him by Jr. Thats the last thing that happened. Thats the last thing the CASUAL FAN sees before they turn off the TV or change the channel. Sergio holding on for dear life while Jr wailed on him hahahaha

Sorry haters but the shine and lustre of the first 11 rounds where Sergio dominated are pretty much forgotten. lol

btw, if w/o modern ahem...sophisticated ahem...rehydration technique, Chavez out cold in 6th.

Too busy sitting on his miniscule nuts? can't help you there..
keep proving to the entire website that you don't know **** about boxing

weight classes actually mean something dip*****, and we all know why Chavez didn't weight himself on HBO's scales

face it, a small man absolutely embarassed a LHW/CW, how does that make you feel? are you proud of this guy who's allowed to cheat the system and STILL loses? congratulations, mexican fans are almost as bad as filipino fans

Martinez killed chavez throughout this fight, then ran out of gas in 12. Martinez could have and maybe should have just danced the last two rounds, but chose to show even standing in front of chavez, chavez can't beat him.

Chavez should go up to 168 and fight librado. I'd probably take librado in that match.
He actually didn't gas... He was tired, yes...

But he won the first 1:30 of the round, and the last 40 seconds of the round.

A rematch would be the same way. Chavez might start more aggressive, until he starts getting picked apart, then we would just see a repeat of the first. What i mean is, Chavez would once again turn tentative and not have any answers. Martinez on the other hand, would be more careful and not engage late in the fight.
What my big brother said, right here.

Missed that. Don't doubt it though. But both fighters, not just Chavez Jr., are on PEDs in my opinion anyway.

I agree. That was a class a fighter vs. a class b- fighter. Martinez would destroy him in a rematch, if chavez would even take that fight. Why would he? He can't win it and he gave his sycophantic fans a 12th round that they can cling to in an effort to justify their misguided faith in him.
