Lets see, which fight outta the three options well no 2 options produces more revenue.. Obviously Marquez considering the Mexican fan base..

Pac could of sat it out and waited til next year to seal a fight with Floyd but they wanted to try to make squeeze out another pointless fight and money from the fans..

It's not compulsory to purchase PPVs. If fans stopped buying bull**** PPVs (and that goes for all fighters, including Floyd) the sport would improve.

That said, I don't think this is such a bad fight. It's been obvious for two years that Pacquiao and Mayweather are not interested in fighting each other and the fight is past its sell-by-date now anyway. Fans should perhaps be less negative about the Pac-JMM rivalry.

I don't understand why there's so much negativity surrounding Pac v JMM. Every single fight has been close, closer than that rubbish with Bradley and each fight has been a fight of the year candidate. Who else would give Pac a more competitive fight at 147 except Floyd? JMM. We've all seen Bradley lose by a wide margin before, I would have liked a rematch like many people just to have lil Tim stfu but the financial side of things just don't add up so Pac's gone for his greatest nemesis, Marquez.

This is bound to be another great fight. Pac could have fought Cotto but Pac and his team wanted 150, Cotto didn't want that, fair enough. Would we want to see Pac fight someone like Alexander or Berto or may be even Maidana at 147...those ifghts are simply ridiculous, you know it, I know it and the boxing world knows it. Who else is there? Floyd is outta prison and simply hasn't spoken about fighting since, Ortiz got knocked out by a lww, Brook isn't ready, Khan just got whooped, Garcia has Morales next (would be a pathetic fight anyway). So what you end up with is Marquez for a 4th time.

Great post. The angry little boys on this forum won't want to listen to it though. Pac has a 17 year (the real or mental age of most posters on here) professional career, this will be his 61st fight. He really should be thinking about calling it a day if anything.

And I think you're right. After JMM 4, win or lose, Pac should seriously start focusing on an exit plan. Does it involve a fight with Floyd? Will you move up to 154? Will it involve a Bradley rematch?
