I'm a neutral for this fight, but the Canelo fans who claim Lopez is 'always a 154 fighter' and look at how big he is now is delusional.
It's easy to put on weight, that don't mean you are putting on effective weight. Canelo is being managed very carefully, and I agree with this. Look at Fernando Vargas, Vargas arguably had even more talent then Canelo and was rushed in way too fast.
The truth of the matter for this fight is Canelo's team is making someone who's 1-2 weight classes below Canelo fight at Canelo's weight class. That's it. Lopez put on weight, so what? Is it effective weight? Most likely not.
This is just going to be a 154-160 Fighter beating up a 140-147 fighter. That's the bottom line.

i can't believe lopez is that heavy...maybe gbp is just making that up to make it look like the fight is evenly matched as far as size is concerned.

But josesito still giving more advantages to canelo, now he is gonna go into the fight overweight..that weigh gained so fast will make him slow and he will get tired faster..

If I was to guess I'd say Lopez ate a massive steak before the weigh in. I wouldn't be surprised if he weighed in at 155 or something on Friday to try and get in Canelo's head.

If I was Lopez Id try to come the lightest possible where I feel comfortable at then try to put on a few lbs between weigh in and fight night.

After watching All Access, I really like Josesito and Co. Seems like the nicest group of guys. Canelo, on the other hand, came off like a real arrogant bully. I'm rooting for the underdog this time.
