Ward would've owned Calzaghe even in his prime. His game and arsenal is more varied. He would've tied Joe up and mauled him on the inside. Plus he is just as fast if not faster. Joe woud've held no advantages in any area.

The best fighter JC faced was an old man Hopkins. Ward is 3 levels about that Hopkins.

I am no fan of Dawson, but saying he's a bum or has no heart is silly talk. The man was #1 at 175 for years for a reason.

Pascal gave his ass a boxing lesson for half a fight, and Dawson dug down and was spanking that ass when the fight was stopped. The man has heart.

Dawson is a great fighter. Ward is just in a different class. Come on man, are you just trying to discredit Ward or something?

Easy to say after he just faced the best fighter on the planet who has zero weaknesses. Put Dawson in with a slower guy like (prime) Adamek or Hopkins and how did he look? People jump to conclusions just b/c a guy got clowned by the baddest man on the planet. You could put Dawson in with the 2nd best guy at 168 (Froch) and he'd look like a much different fighter against an opponent who is much slower and much less crafty. Styles make fights. Ward makes everyone look bad. Dawson is still a very good fighter. He beat Hopkins easier than anyone in his entire career save Prime Roy Jones.
