Comments Thread For: Photos: Soto Karass in Top Form For Marcos Maidana War

Big Bear, California - In what is being agreed upon by boxing experts as a sure-fire, barn burner of a fight, Welterweight contender Jesus ''Renuente'' Soto-Karass 26-7-3 (17KOs) will be taking on former WBA Super lightweight KO artist, Argentina's Marcos ''Chino'' Maidana 31-3 (28KOs) on September 15th at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In Maidana, Karass will be taking on a fighter much like him, a fighter who almost never takes a step back, pressures and loves a good shoot-out of a fight, with styles to match. This fights pretty meh, but I guess Maidana needed an easy tune up.

We're talking about Maidana here, this ain't no damn tune up. Skill wise both fighters are pretty even.

Yea... I see Maidana struggling once again. He might win but i don't think it will be easy.

              Maidana is on the slide!

¿Top form? ¿Really? He looks the same as he did when he got KO'd by Rosado & in his 2 looses to Mike Jones(which in the 1st he couldn't even take out an extremely exhausted Jones who ran out if gas in 1st round)& in his lost to Alfonso Gomez..I don't see anything special or different.

Should be a fun scrap while it lasts. Maidana by early KO.

People make Maidana out to be a bum...... he's only lost convincingly 1 once, after getting clinched 100 times..
