But would you agree that Khan, potentially, could improve and right these wrongs?

I see with Khan, so many areas that could be improved and even an area ( inside ) that doesn't exist. I think all this will come about with Khan's new trainer.

    could he?
    sure. he's got the talent.

he'd do well to take a fight or two domestically and really work on things if he wants a complete overhaul. new trainer. new location (closer to home would probably be good for him. he's close with his family.) he's got to let these new patterns that he develops become habit.

i'm not sure that he will make a proper comeback, with a big enough step back initially. i think he'll jump right into a big fight or against a good fighter, and the second he gets hit with a big shot or starts landing big shots of his own he'll start to revert in some capacity back to his old habits.

i hope i'm wrong. i do like khan. his mouth is a bit much for me, but the guy is ballsy as hell. i dont think he'll ever make it to the next level, and i do think he's on the downside.

He can't change and the only ones who will tell you he can are either his ridiculous fans or trainers wanting a piece of the pie.

He has too many flaws & it would be near impossible to drill them out. Hes been doing this for nearly two decades! Nearly two decades of changing well, nothing. Same old bad habits.

Yes he still young, 26 is it? but hes an old 26.

Tbh I am struggling to think of a 26yr old that has taken that many beating in the AMs & pros.

He was getting roughed up, dropped and beaten too a pulp in the AMs & way before Prescott knocked him out. Well before Peterson hit him with everything including the kitchen sink, before Maidana savaged him, before Garcia tortured him.
He has taken a lot of punishment for a 26yr old lamb.

That man in my sig is a real fighter, after Olusegun (A better boxer than Khan) he will rip Khans spinal column out.

Lucas will end Amir Khan once in for all. I can see it because of the reward, the £$£$£, they will bill Lucas as another Maidana once Amir has picked up a few wins over names that offer no threat.

Lucas will be the one to end his career. Rest assured.

I screamed on Khan for years for not rematching Prescott. Khan took tough fight after tough fight though. He made me forget about Prescott for a few ticks. Look at Khans recent resume, and tell me that you'd give up on him as Earl has.

He wasn't taking beatings in the amateurs. Stop exaggerating. If your heart isn't in to it as a fan, stop following boxing. A new trainer is needed. Roach isn't a trainer of defense. Khan may or may not change, but he needs a new trainer.

Oh really now? I followed his amateur career.

                Here you go...

Can't find the full video but this is against Scott Lawton. Same mistake as usual, same chicken dance to follow!

Totally outclassed this time, this is Mario Kindelan.

Khan is a very good fighter, but due to some limitations he will never be elite and will suffer occasional set backs.

He is skilled enough though that he has the capability to beat an elite fighter on a given night. It is just a clock that slowly ticks away, and eventually someone else above or below him skillwise will get an advantage of him also on a given night.

It is just the way it is. I personally enjoy watching him fight. He is entertaining. Not every fighter can be A+ level.

These are the same guys who claim Amir Khan had an amateur record of 100-1
They're as blind and as delusional as their idol.

I more or less predicted this guys entire career lay out from scratch.

If you follow a boxer and are a loyal fan & you're recommending they should stay away from punchers it shows what you truly think of him & it says he is in the wrong sport.

Who would you like him to fight? How about the feather fisted Cesar Rene Cuenca 43-0 with 1 K.O or is that too risky?

How about a fight in the U.K he deserves another million pound payday right? Ashley Theophane?
