1) Now that Chavez has a few more fights under his belt, Arum feels he is ready to fight Martinez.
2) Arum said same of Cotto vs Floyd(see #1)

3) Please tell me with a straight face that Arum was wrong in saying that Chavez was nowhere near ready to fight Martinez until now? If you made a poll even a year ago, a majority would say Chavez didn't belong in the same ring as a Martinez. Now, while Martinez is still favored, people are not laughing at this fight .... people can't wait for this fight, that Arum got made, to happen!

4) Contrary to what Arum said about Cotto and Chavez, Arum never said that Manny is not ready to fight Floyd! Big difference!

Did you even watch the video clip? Arum was going to make that fight happen and he thought that Cotto can be the one to defeat Floyd. You guys said that Arum was "protecting" Cotto .... lol! ... but you were wrong!
