But I did not agree with Tszyu getting in. So i'm not gonna sit here and say Martinez should get in. He needs two more popular wins[other than Chavez Jr], preferably Mayweather or Cotto.
Difference is Tszyu was top ten P4P for a decade, one of the only Undisputed (not unified or lineal...Undisputed) champs in the last 15-20 years, first unified champ in 40 years at 140, beat 16 former/future or present champs and made about 15 defenses in a career with only just over 30 fights. Half his fights in his whole career were 1) in title shots and 2) against champions.

The overall caliber of opposition is vastly different too. Really not the same. Even at it stood Tszyu is borderline HOFer. Martinez doesn't get close yet.

Looks like the Chavez Jr./Martinez fight may break 500k PPV Buys

This is a stunner to me and I'll believe it when I see it, but hearing the PPV numbers for Chavez-Martinez could go past, gulp, 500K

The atmosphere at Chavez-Martinez was among the best for any fight I've been at. Heard it was great at Canelo-Lopez too. Yep, dying sport

Sigh.. and Josesito Lopez was 175 at the 30 day weigh in for Canelo. Was 167 at the 7 day weigh in. Are you going to tell me he doesn't belong at 140 just because he walks around that high? The kid gets heavier than Sergio.

            Just stop posting.

Lopez was in the 160's before his fight?

                    Martinez broke Jr's face

‎@maravillabox , @jcchavezjr1 , The medical tests have revealed Julio Chavez Jr. suffering "malar bone fracture (cheekbone) and orbit" , which is going to prevent the coming months to continue training and will likely need surgery in the coming days.

The malar bone is located at the level of the cheek and that makes it prominent cheekbone. Also part of the floor and lateral wall of the orbit, which is the cavity that holds and protects the eyeball. At fracture, can cause a flattening of the cheek, limited mouth opening, and if they commit the orbital walls can produce drop eyeball double vision and commitment of the muscles that move the eye. Sometimes these symptoms are masked by post-traumatic inflammation and only become apparent a few days later when the swelling down. These symptoms should be treated surgically to avoid leaving important functional and aesthetic sequelae.

Pretty similar injury to Margarito against Pac

Fight was very similar actually minus the 12th round
