I read recently that Barerra's old promoter Ricardo Maldionado said that Barerra would/could never beat Pac and that is why he never had his man in the ring with him.

When Oscar took control of Pac's career what is the first fight that he made? It was Manny Pacquaio!

So maybe they are leary of Pac a second time but to call Oscar a chicken is just ******/Puerto Rican.

Marco Antonio Barrera is my favorite fighter of this era...

but...

I said this before, if he fights Chavez then ok...
but if he doesn't fight Pacquioa or Marquez after that, I will not be a fun of him no more..

RLmao.....I think Barrera is being managed the American way now scap.it is odd though that Barrera doesnt mention Pac.He might be waiting..... just in case Pac falls of the map.If he was chicken **** we would have smelled it early in his career. lol, do you remember the pre fight conference with kennedy. Second, sure Oscar ****ed up, he made a calculated mistake against Tito-call him a chicken if you like but we both no Oscar is no chicken.

Oscar didnt fight Vargas until Tito ****ed him up...cant we say that Tito never fought Quartey who was the best in the 147 pound division next to Tito but yet they never fought? Do you realize Oscar was at lightweight when Tito and Ike were ruling the 147 division-I know you didnt realize that.


Again back to 147 pounds, why did he wait so damn long to fight Sweat Pea (you no the answer)...He waited years to finally fight-Tito was the 2nd best 147 in the world for a while back in 94,95,96 yet he didnt fight the best 1 in Whitaker and he didnt fight the other kid on the block in Quartey. I just dont get how a fighter can get tortured and move on like it never happended when the guy that tortured you is still right in front of you.

I have a bit of a problem with Morales too, I think if you asked the Morales camp about Raheem they would say "who" Barerra and Morales seemed to be throw backs in a way where win or lose they get their lunchpale filled up dust themselves off and go back to work...however I would like to see them call out the fighters who have ****d them and that seems like somehting niehter man is willing to do unless it is against each other.

you might be right but its not the 80's anymore scap. you have to take in account how much boxing has changed.Everyone is taking a different aproach to their fights and barrera and morales both know who they can and can not beat.....styles make fights and mismatches. I think if push should come to shove both these Mexicans step in the ring with their nemisis.I bet anything hey dont fake injury or retire or even just run their mouth 100 mph.
