since MANNY PACQUIAO bet his life on his rematch...

with erik morales, he said he bet his life he will win by Ko!

    what happens if he loses?

    Does he take his life?

All I know is this is the first time I heard a fighter say he bets his life maybe his english was misinterpted.

Manny does seem super driven now I feel he will come out on top and prove the so called experts wrong again.

Focus is a main tool for a fighters success he has complete focus now.

I'll bet it was misinterpreted(?). I think Manny should be the favorite going in. I'll still go with Morales by UD, but wouldnt be suprised if Manny shocks Morales.

Pacman is from the southern island of Mindanao (General Santos City) and traces his roots to the island of Cebu in the Visayas, smack in the middle of the string of islands called the Philippines.

As one who has studied the nuances of the Cebuano vernacular (the Philippines has hundreds of linguistic sub-sets), I smilingly recognize the statement as common hyperbole--- a phrase that a native Cebuano would say if he intends to emphasize that he's going to give something his all. It should not be taken literally.

It is much in the manner of an old-fashioned american man telling his beloved, "Ill die for you."

you're a pinoy, right? i think you are coz how would you know all of these things?

i agree w/ you 100% that pac wasn't meant he would take his own life if he loses, he was just trying to say he would give it his all and that losing is never an option!!
