James Toney you don't have 5 years left you have been shot atleast that long. Hang up the gloves before you end up like Ali. Your already halfway there it is really sad. Nobody can even take pride in beating this guy anymore.

Maybe James Toney can have a rematch with Randy Couture as a no.1 contender for Evander Holyfield's "Washed-up" Heavyweight Championship belt.

I really wish some of these guys can walk away in a more respectable way. Toney's had his day and needs to just let it go.

toney is one of my favorites but man does he need to hang it up. if he wants to fight let him but why not just fight the other senior circuit guys? people would still come out to see the old chaps fight each other. maybe not 15000 but a nice small venue holding 3000 with decent priced tickets could be attractive for a saturday night. toney vs holyfield 2 or toney vs botha, etc...his big fights days are long gone

                  I agree.

Toney is one of the greatest to lace em up, and one of my personal favorites. Keep fighting if you want to you, but do it against similar opposition, no way he can hang with the young world class pups.

Still, the mother ****er could box in his day though...

If you've seen any of Tony's recent interviews you can only shake your head at how slurred his speech has become. Much of what he rambles on about is incoherent gibberish.
