Cotto is washed up & was even badly hurt by light punching Mayweather in the 12th round. Granted Bradley & Mayweather have similar punching power Bradley is a much better pressure fighter & a prolific body puncher. Cotto would wear down late & get stopped if these two meet up. Cotto's bread & butter is the left hook to the body, it will not bother Bradley. Bradley stayed in close quarters with Pacquiao & was never wobbled. Cotto is not anywhere near the puncher Pac is. Bradley is a brilliant inside fighter who will get into Cotto's ribcage, be more agile, & underrated technically. Bradley over Cotto all day. This isn't Lopez-Alvarez, weight will not impact this one.
Mayweather hits harder and is better than Bradley, Pacquiao did wobble Bradley and he should have won if they have a rematch he wins

Cotto fan on Cotto fighting Bradley: Make it happen!! Bradley beat Pac(yea right). Who cares if he comes up another division.

Cotto fan on Canelo fighting Lopez: Damn cherry pick by Canelo. Overhyped! He's fighting a Jr. Welter. Like Bradley isn't

i dont mind this fight, but weight will definitely have an impact. itd be the reason id favor cotto. all things considered both bradley ad cotto are similar leveld fighters with similar level of boxing skills and ring iq. but cotto is stronger and cotto is bigger, and cotto hits harder. it would be a hard fight for tim to win and im a bigger tim fan than cotto fan.

bradley's getting a little desperate here , going to 154 suddenly , not a good decision

If I was Tim's manager, I would stay away from Cotto. He's a bigger guy with skills. He has a good jab, a monster left hook to the body, and pretty good defense. Its a bad match up for Tim.

Tim is my favorite fighter, but I'm starting to think that he is just looking for big pay days. He has that right because this is a business. But, there are too many guys to fight at 140 and 147 to want to fight at 154. That's not saying he can't beat Cotto, but he would have to execute the perfect fight to win. I admire him for showing the heart and attitude of a champion, but I hope its for the right reasons. I hope its really to fight the best and go down as an all time great. But, I have a feeling its for a big pay day.

Cotto is my favorite fighter and I think it would be a joke if Tim came up to 154 and fought Miguel. I don't understand the interest in a cotto Bradley fight unless Miguel would be dropping down to 147 to fight for Bradley's belt. Cotto doesn't even have a belt at 154!

Left hook to the body? Maybe in his 140 and early 147 days. His bread and butter is his jab. Cotto can time Bradley's inside lunges with his jab and counter him. He's bigger, stronger, and has more power than Bradley. Bradley shouldn't be fighting at 154 though. 147 is his weight class now. He could still probably go to 140 for the right fight.
