If by finish stronger you got off his bicycle every once in a while to throw a flury (which did nothing to deter maidana) than sure, he finished stronger. Maidana didnt do much in the last round or two, but he was still a bull coming forward and khan was already broke down. Iirc.

I totally don't agree, look at the end of the last round, Lennox land some good shot on the inside and Vitali is holding really bad. Vitali was as exhausted and hurt as Lennox in this fight. Vitali then played his little game : ohhhh I would have beaten him he was gassed out, lol yeah right, it's easy to say after they just stopped the fight

If Maidana didn't do much in the last two rounds of a 12 round fight, what makes you think he would do anything in rounds 13, 14 and 15 then?

I can certainly go with the argument that if Round 10 was a longer round then Khan may well have been TKO'd, however im not gonna buy the if it was a 15 round fight Maidana would have won.

By the end of the 12th Maidana was gassed if i remember correctly, i think Khan looked fresher out the two towards the end of the fight.

And you call it ''getting on his bike'' well call it what you want. That's all Khan would have needed to do in rounds 13, 14 and 15 to win a UD victory.

I don't know about a definite win, but I think one more round and Dawson could have knocked out Pascal. He stunned him really bad in the 11th round and had him running away. Then they stopped the fight during that round because of Dawson's cut from the accidental headbutt. Give him the rest of the 11th round, and a KD could have happened. Give him the 12th round to work with, I think we could have seen a TKO in Dawson's favor. Maybe i'm being bias because I like Dawson but you watch the fight yourself and tell me Pascal was not stunned and running away.

Props to Pascal though, as wild as he is, he hit Dawson with some nasty, flush, right hands and hooks and had Dawson ducking and dodging for the majority of the fight. Dawson's worst performance by far, despite punishing Pascal with hard body punches and head shots in the 10th and 11th round and hurting him.
