Cotto ducked Canelo and now he don't want to prove who the best is at 154. I've been saying this, Cotto is a fake image of what he truly is. He hasn't really done much at 154/140 compared to 147.

As much as I like Cotto I agree, that is a whole other level of pressure at a weight class he's still relatively green in.

Come on. Pressure? Kirkland has nothing in the presure department when compared to Margarito. He does not have the God like endurance that Margarito had, and MUCH LESS his Granite Chin!

Cotto will let Kirk come foward and Kirk chin will be put to the test. He will be KO/TKO. No questions asked. As we have seen, Cotto can fight on his back foot, throw combos and punish you all night long. Cotto by KO/TKO by the 6th.

GBP made a mistake not signing Cotto to a three fight deal when he fought Mayweather. They should have never let him get that fight. Without them working out a deal to have him fight for them a couple of times. GBP gave him his highest pay day with nothing in return. They got to be kicking them selves in the head right now.

He Prbly declined but the money they made off of it made them more then happy. Why do you think they keep trying to get him to fight gbp fighters cause no matter if hes on contract if he fights one of their fighters he'll make them money.

I bet if they would of done this tournament a couple of years ago at WW when Floyd and Cotto were around Cottards would be *****ing about Mayweather retiring and calling him a chicken to prove who's the best WW but now that their hero is and HAS been ducking top comp at 154, his fans will say it's ok for him not to fight.

I'm not a big Cotto fan but you have to respect the guy.

I want know this what has Canelo ever done to deserve a shot at ANY of the top names? Canelo has proven he can beat up blown up super lightweights and blown up welterweights, he's also cleared out the boxing retirement home too.

I'm not hating on Canelo, he doesn't pick who he fight but why doesn't he fight a real contender at 154? that would be a 1st.

Molina needs to be included in that list. It's funny how De la Hoya didnt mention Molina in that tournament even though he holds wins (according to most fans and media) over 2 of them, Kirkland and Lara.

After that crap Molina pulled against Kirkland (122 clinches in 10 rounds), someone couldn't pay me to watch Molina.
