GBP made a mistake not signing Cotto to a three fight deal when he fought Mayweather. They should have never let him get that fight. Without them working out a deal to have him fight for them a couple of times. GBP gave him his highest pay day with nothing in return. They got to be kicking them selves in the head right now.

I think Cotto had the bargaining power in that negotiation.

1. He could of fought Pacquiao for a large payday

2. If not Cotto, who would Floyd have fought on May 5 that would be worthy of a megafight? Khan lost to Peterson, Guerrero would have been laughed at, Martinez just had a fight in late March and Canelo wasn't ready yet.

Lmao! Cotto is his own boss like Floyd .. Floyd uses golden boy to promote his fights and Cotto uses top Rank .. Cotto can always get a big fight without Floyd , he would've never agreed to those options and it's something that would've been laughed at by Cotto if presented wit that ultimatum

As much as I like Cotto I agree, that is a whole other level of pressure at a weight class he's still relatively green in.
