No one is changing their date.

Sept 15th is a huge date, and seeing that Chavez and Alvarez are pretty big names in Mexico.....I can't see Top Rank giving that date up as they had it first.

I also don't see GBP giving that date up either as the had already signed off on that date as well.

      I'm pretty sure that's over $120 bucks.
Wait couple hours on fight night. Find torrents. Download the fights. Hook up your TV to the computer. If they're entertaining, send checks to the promo companies.

wow is this the first time in history 2 ppvs on the same night? Top Rank/Goldenboy beef is outta control, but I would definitely be rolling with GBP on this one. You can't go wrong with Ortiz-Alvarez and Gonzalez-De Leon on the same card 0_0

but then again, Chavez Jr. vs Martinez is a fight I never thought would happen, and still kinda doubt that it'll actually happen >_>

        decisions, decisions.

          Canelo Ortiz not competitive

GB needs to find Canelo a jr mid to fight. Why would anybody pay to watch Canelo beat up on Vic? This is just a glorified sparring session.

Maybe it's just me, I mean don't get me wrong Canelo-Ortiz is a good fight, not the great fight some have advertised it to be (side note: props to Canelo for trying to get Williams and Kirkland), but still, a good fight. A great premium channel (HBO or Showtime) event - but not that great a PPV. Again, not sure if it's just me, but it seems like a no-brainer Martinez vs Chavez is a big event in itself (not that I'm ordering either one). One event you're pitting two top middleweights against one another, while the other is an exceptional young talent going against a guy who's fought predominantly at 140, has had two welterweight fights and has gone 1-1 in them. Ortiz "is a good little fighter," but he's not a junior middleweight...and I don't care how much he rehydrates - he weighs in at 147, water weight don't make you a legitimate 154 pounder (or higher). Again I don't want my opinion to seem like I'm bashing the fight...it's Canelo's best fight thus far and he's actually tried to face Williams and Kirkland, which due to unfortunate events have both been canceled, but when you compare the two...I just don't see how.

Don't worry I'm sure between now and then someone will get hurt or injured. Ortiz could get cut or headbutted. Martinez could tear an ACL. Chavez Jr could suffer cuts or headbutts vs Lee this weekend. Canelo is the only one that seems like a safe bet to be healthy enough to make it to September 15th.

HOLD YOUR BREATH EVERYONE!!!!! Pray no one gets hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am already praying Laker! Lol.

Man what great fights. What great fights.

I will buy both. **** it. It is 120 bucks, but
this is passion for me gentlemen. I might be
able to talk one of my brothers into buying
                one of these clashes.

                Which is bigger?

I really don't know. I think both are possibly
50/50. I am fan of all four of these boxers.

I would like Chavez to beat Sergio.

Canelo vs Ortiz? May the best man win.
I imagine Ortiz takes this one. If it happens.

                Viva Mexico.

Oscar has nothing to worry about, who wants to watch a Top Rank show and see the better fighter lose. What fight is on 9/15 Chavez vs Martinez? I don't believe that fight will ever happen, even if it does Martinez should be worried about getting robbed. If they can rob Manny, what does Martinez think will happen against the son of a legend (and a big cash cow)?
