Who's got the better resume out of Carl Froch and Andre Ward? I say Froch quite comfortably at the moment but some might disagree because of his losses. I think the only fight Froch clearly lost was ironically the Ward figh. The Kessler fight could have easily gone either way and Kessler got the decision because it was his home town. In a neutral location that fight would have probably been a draw.

The Better Resume --- Ward or Froch?

Carl Froch.
Ward is very talented and will be #1 P4P but I think Froch's resume is just a bit better at the moment. Froch's fights away from home in his resume should be considered too..

Ward. He's literally beaten every single person at 168 who means anything at all, including Froch himself, as well as Kessler - another man who has beaten Froch.
People are going nuts over Froch's win over Bute for some odd reason, and I don't get it. Yes, it was an impressive performance, but Bute is seriously one of the worst fighters I've seen in my 14 years watching this sport. He literally did "**** all" against Froch other than stand there like a heavybag and take blows to the face. It's no wonder a 47 year old Hopkins wanted a piece of Bute while he was still undefeated.

Ward certainly has the quality. But Froch has the obvious edge in quantity.
I think it's up for debate right now but if Ward beats Dawson then it's Ward by a margin.
And Froch doesn't have as much left in his tank as Ward does.
Ward has a lot of his career left to go. Froch doesn't have many IMO.

IF Froch would have actually beat Dirrell I would be willing to entertain the thought of him having beat the superior guys.
Since that isn't the case Ward gets it based on beating Froch who would be the best win on either guy's dosier and for good measure beating up Kessler who holds a victory over Froch. Froch does have a bit more volume currently and that could have been enough to edge it if not for head to head, losing to another guy Ward beat and looking like utter garbage and getting lucky against Dirrell.

Ward will get many more top quality wins. I can't see him getting beat anytime soon.
