both came into national prominence around the same time and Bowe hailed from my county. Pernell Whittaker was the smoothest boxer I had ever seen, until Floyd.
I have been a boxing fan as long as I can remember. My dad and his friends always had the big fight on when I would visit my pops on the weekends. Whether it be Hearns vs Leonard or the No Mas fight, all the big ones. My addiction really caught on when I saw Arron Pryor vs Arguello on espn as a rerun around 1990. Espn superbouts. So from then on I was watching everything. And of course I watched Tyson from the Marvis Frazier fight onward. The Holyfield vs Qawi fight was also a huge influence in my boxing addiction. So , basically from then on I watched every big championship fight there was. the Lenox Lewis era and throughout that. But I must say that what really recharged my love for the sport was the Morales/ Barrera 1fight. Ever since then I went completely wild for boxing. I traded vhs tapes like crazy in the early 2000's, I ended up with about 500 fights on vhs. I have seen them all! I love boxing! I have everything from Graziano/Zale to Morales/Garcia and almost anything in between. I love the sport!
