Floyds numbers are good but don't even compare them to Pac. Floyd vs Cotto was 2 american citizens fighting on the biggest weekend in the sport and had the biggest Mexican star on the undercard and only sold 100k more PPV's than two foreigners fighting on a random weekend in November (Pac vs Marquez 3)

If Pac fought Marquez on May 5, that fight would've done over 2 million PPV's EASY
Alert, Alert! Another dumb ass on thread!

What I don't get is that he calls Marquez a foreigner but then goes on to say that Pac/Marquez on May 5th would have done 2MIL? Pacquiao fans know Manny ain't bigger than Floyd in the sport and that's why they're going over time trying to discredit his successful numbers.

Floyd does not want the fight, he will keep moving the goal posts to make sure it does not happen
Show me a boxing article or any article in general that shows Pacquiao numbers being as high as Floyd's? Floyd just broke another record that has him involved with the # 1 and 2 highest fight numbers in the sport. Pac never did that.

i don't know how people can attribute more than half of the numbers to floyd with cotto and canelo on the card

yet floyd seems to get all the credit anyway

like a bunch of women in here arguing..

floyd did well to sell the ppv and it was an exciting fight...

however, he had excellent help from cotto who has a strong fan base

and Canelo who has a huge fan base especially for may 5th.

vargas is garbage and is not even a friday night fighter....

canelo vs mosley was lackluster and boring... shane is no longer shane at

41 and canelo is so green he was afraid to open up and take a chance

              against shane....

floyd vs cotto was a good fight.

enjoy it and enjoy the pacman bradley fight as well..

true boxing fans enjoy good fights...

people are in here picking sides like they are in junior high and floyd or pac

is their best friend and they sit with him at the lunch table..

              grow up..

The 4,208 Unsold were MGM Loations,Not the Actual arena where the fight was. The actual Arena had 28 Unsold tickets. The MGM and other casinos will charge you to come watch the fight in their other Ballrooms and theatres. learn how to read and understand whats being said. 2nd Floyd is the face of Boxing. He's obviously the Biggest Draw. he now Holds the #1 and #2 Spot for 1 Fight revenue of all time. Now watch Manny Go out here and Make 15-20 Million Fighting Bradley While Floyd Made Around 60 Mil w/ Cotto and still ask for a 50/50. Makes no Sense.

cotto is irrelevant in this situation because if we're comparing Pacs numbers against mayweather's in their fights with cotto then cotto would not factor into it because he's the common denominator in both fights. Canelo might factor into it but I haven't really heard anyone saying they bought the ppv because of canelo. Also I do believe that everyone in Vegas that went to see that fight was watching it to see the main fight. Regardless, ppv numbers are attributed to the headliner, that's how its always been. Kinda like dlh vs Floyd. That is the highest non heavyweight pvp of all time. Manny fought dlh too but those numbers weren't as good so you have to attribute it to the difference between Floyd and Manny. Simply put, Floyd does better numbers. Maybe not by a whole lot but they tend to be better.
