Arum aggressively pursued Tim bc he wanted new viable opponents for Pac. In all fairness, TB returned the love.

Ortiz was a nobody with casual fans, and Floyd did $78 million with Ortiz.

Floyd can sell more than Manny against any opponet. Period.

That's the knock on the commission test as well, and Floyd's psuedo OST doesn't fix the issues around doping. Like I have always stated, if boxers and boxing wants to be serious, then do it year round.....anything less and your just posturing.

How when I stated Floyd sells more and should get the bigger split? The only thing I stated was that it shouldn't be something ridiculous as in a 40 million dollar flat fee. How is that defending Manny?

I called both fights ****, just like I did when it was first announced.

Actually it will be Top Rank later on tonight.
So your argument was that it was better to stick with even ****tier testing. Ok. BTW, good call on switching back. Stick to what you know.

Floyd should get the bigger split. I say 55-45 is the perfect cut.

I heard Cotto got 35%, is that true?

Bradley's even more of a nobody than Ortiz. Ortiz at least had HBO hype.

No. I'm just saying that you aren't addressing the real issue, which is fighters doping up, cycling out and passing test. I agree with you that OST is way better than commission testing and should be done.

However, my stance has always been that if it's not year round, then fighters can still cycling out and beat those test.

Yeah, I don't see this fight selling as well. Still think it breaks a million. I wonder how the 24-7 plays out.

Bradley will too. He's been on HBO plenty of times already. He's getting a chance to showcase himself on 24/7. They' very similar opponets, IMO.

So did Bradley. Did you forget about the whole build up to the modern day Hagler/Hearns? Atleast that's what Bradley said during the face off against Devon.

I heard two things. I heard 70-30 and 65-35, not sure which is true.

60-40 seems a bit steep, 55-45 being the most reasonable, and there's no way Floyd should take 50-50 at this point. He's proven time and again that he generates more revenue. If he was smart, he'd offer 55-45. And if Pac was smart, he'd take it. Neither will do that though, because in terms of making money, they absolutely don't need each other. That could change though if Pac's PPV's with Bradley and a 4th Marqez fight don't do so well. We'll see.
