Floyd couldve easily outboxed him like he did the first 5 rounds but by going to the ropes and throwing a lot of punche he mae it closer thn he had to.

It was a damn good night of boxing and youre in here trolling because Floyd got his nose busted by a 160 plus pound tank?

    Grow up kid.
and why would Floyd be content to slug it out? for what the fans? since when has he gave a fucc about the fans?

No the great thing for Floyd is that he actually knows how to duck the best.

Floyd could have just easily kept this fight in the middle of the ring and won easily that way. But you can clearly see him staying on the ropes to challenge Cotto. Cotto will run the 154 division for a long time though if he doesn't retire. This fight was either a 9-3 or 8-4 for me.

Pacquiao would still walk through Cotto because of the styles. Cotto's weakness is dealing with combinations. Both Manny and Margarito were combination punchers and Floyd did best against Cotto when he threw them. THe problem was that Floyd did not throw enough combinations. His style is set for Cotto to be more competitive than most but still lose to Floyd but get battered by Pacquiao.

cong**** to floyd...that was a masterful performance.

props to cotto as well...he performed better than expected. i wanna see him against canelo and i think cotto will beat him. and good for gbp to shelve their plan to put the ginger kid against floyd.

Why are people acting like it was close. 118-110/117-111. 9-3 is the most netrual, with 8-4/10-2 depending on what you favored. It was competitive but Floyd was the clear winner, won the early and late rounds, and Cotto had his moments in the middle rounds.

And I can't help but laugh at the people saying Floyd looked slow. he still used his legs enough to get out of dodge most of the time, avoided most all of Cotto's punches while on the ropes, and had the same fast hands.

Solid performance by Floyd. Cotto did prove he isn't "shot" or done.

it was fraud (not arum) that offered pac 40 mil and no PPV percentage...
pac offered 40-40 and the other 20 to the winner?
arum wasnt even part of the last negotiations.
so who's the one avoiding the fight?
                  hahaha...so obvious

                  and btw,
again fraud says in the interview, "if you;re the best, take the test"...
hey floyd, i thought it was "take 40mil and no PPV percentage or no fight"???

I gave Miguel at least 5 rounds. He was caught by Mayweather's effective aggression but at the same time controlled the Ring Generalship. This fight shows you that had Mayweather fought Cotto in 2007-2008, Cotto would've done even better. To all of those people who thought Mayweather would 'Gatti' Cotto, give praise to Cotto's proud performance. Well done Mayweather.
Cotto's landed punches were nearly all jabs. Floyd landed both jabs and power shots. I'd say the one landing more power shots did the outfighting.
