You sound dumb as hell.... PAC will never make more money then Floyd....Floyd is his own boss and manny has a boss who takes the biggest pie of the money... What most of y'all are forgetting is that manny also has to pay promoter fees... He doesn't make 25 a fight he prob gets about 15...and his numbers don't be better then Floyd's Ppv...check your facts homebody...their ppvs with the same fighters and Floyd did much better...check on that duesch

Manny gets a guarantee of about 20mil.....but when the fight is over and Ppv comes in he gets about another 5-7 mil..his guarantee is basically all his money because arum keeps the majority of the money....see most people are saying mammy gets such and such after Ppv comes in, but people forget, manny has a promoter who controls the $$$...Floyd controls all of his $

The fight could bomb and he could end up bankrupt whereas Pac vs Bradley could sell 5 PPV's and Pac is still guaranteed $25 million plus a cut of the PPV and gate.
I'd rather be Pac all day on this one. And lets not forget, Pac-Mosley and Pac-Marquez each outsold Ortiz-floyd.

Pac doesn't have to pay **** and at the end of the day will end up with more than floyd cuz not only does he do bigger numbers but he has no expenses
No wonder floyd was crying over a lost betting slip and had to sell one of his cars and steal his baby momma iphone lmao
Floyd ain't never made close to 50 million in one year while Pac made it in 2 fights with the minimum guarantee alone

They're purses should have little effect in the split of the fight revenue in a fight between them. Pacquiao's promoter takes full responsibility for the promotion and it's costs and so in turn takes a share of the revenue, Mayweather uses his promotional company for the promotion and it's costs and rents GBP for probably a lesser fee, so much of the promotional revenue goes to his purse minus the costs. At the end of the day it's the money Top Rank can generate from Manny's fights vs the money Mayweather/Golden Boy promotions generate from their fights.
their last fight-
Pacquiao-Marquez
PPVx1.41($55)=$77.5M..probably a bit more taking into account HD buys
Gate (crowd 16,368)=$11.6M
total=$89.1M, plus the HD buys
Mayweather-Ortiz
PPVx1.25($60+HD buys)=$78.4M
Gate (crowd 14,687)=$9M
total=$87.4M
Sponsorship money and all that, both guys will bring the sponors to this fight no doubt, Manny arguably more so being a bigger worldwide figure.
This fight is 50-50, revenue should be split down the middle and they should each have equal responsibility and share in the costs of the promotion. However each side splits their share is irrelevant. The deal Mayweather is asking for is ludicrous, he is looking to ride off Pacquiao's name to a probable $100M payday while offering Pac only $40M. How anyone defends it is beyond me, his fanboys are devoted that's for sure.Last edited by Fighting Pride; 05-03-2012, 10:13 PM.

Here some Forbes facts and then some..
btw Pac is 4th most influential athlete in the USA, and 28 in the top athletes of 2012 in the usa while floyd only ranked 48 lol
Once again, if u run the #'s, you'll see Pac has generated more! If anything Pac is being generous by demanding a 50/50 split or better yet 45/55 with the winner getting 55.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR IS A COWARD! It's that simple...
Pacquiao has bend to every Mayweather previous demands...
But his new demand is impossible to meet!
Highest Paid Athlete from FORBES:
In 2011: Pacquiao is No. 25..... Mayweather out from Top 50.
In 2010: Pacquiao is No. 24..... Mayweather out as he didn't have a fight.
If Mayweather can provide evidence that he generate more profit (live gates & PPV) than Pacquiao in the last 3 years... then he has a claim!
OSCAR DE LA HOYA HIGHEST GUARANTEE WAS $33M...
Is Mayweather going to get a Guarantee of $50M by fighting opponent not Named Manny Pacquiao???? Certainly NOT... Not even $40M
Enough said.. 50/50 is more than generous enough.. And that is not including endorsement deals Pac has in the states. That's caching caching!
