The final press conference was held for the big middleweight fight which takes place on May 1st at the Sport Complex Krylatskoe in Moscow, Russia. At the RTR, WBO champion Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15KOs) went face to face with challenger Nobuhiro Ishida of Japan (24-7-2, 9KOs). A lot is on the line for Pirog. Ishida got stopped in sparring several months ago.

Busted Pirog lip or not, Ishida is a blown up junior middleweight who lost his last fight via shutout. Pirog should handle this easily and hopefully he fights somebody legit next
