I like the Pac undercard actually. Bailey V Jones and although Teon Kennedy lost he is still a pretty good opponent for Rigo. Arce is also on the card so you know some action will be brought. On the untelevised portion they have some good fighters too Omotoso and highly touted prospect Jesse Hart making his debut.

It would have been a decent matchup maybe two years ago, but Forbes is pretty shot now, and has lost a lot of the defensive slickness that allowed him to compete against bigger fighters. Vargas shouldn't have any trouble overpowering him. That said, it's about the best that could be expected on short notice.

A source with direct knowledge of the negotiations has informed krikya360.com that former champion and cagey veteran Steve Forbes (35-10, 11KOs) accepted a deal to face welterweight contender Jessie Vargas (18-0, 9KOs) on the undercard to the Floyd Mayweather-Miguel Cotto HBO pay-per-view, which takes place on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The Pac cards as of late have been **** but this one potentially could be good but it depends on things going well. Bailey/Jones could be good but Bailey is old so you don't know what you get and same with Arce fight. Arce is exciting watch but I've never heard of his opponent and he might just light into him. Rigo should get a nice kayo though. For the first time in a while the Pac undercard is better than Mayweathers. I'm excited for the atmosphere for Canelo/Mosley but it's a pretty ****ty fight too.

This is a good opponent for Vargas. He's gonna be tested like never before, Forbes has been handling Canelo's ass in sparring, from the short clips I watched...
