IIRC it only did about 150k more buys, which is kinda sad when Ortiz doesn't even have an avid fanbase following him.

Floyd isn't betting what's in his account to win more money from a Pacquiao fight. Yes it is about the money he has because he is under no pressure to make a deal, he can play the game as he sees fit. I don't care if you think he should take 50/50 or whatever, what I was discussing was about what Floyd thinks and why Floyd did certain things. Floyd is playing hardball negotiating he thinks he can do better, whatever either does or he doesn't but he is in his right to take such a stance. Who knows it may work out like he thinks.

Wait, how is it "hardball negotiating" when he ends up looking like the fool? By you saying he's playing hardball, you're validating his stance. If you say he's under "no pressure to make the deal", does that mean the pressure is all on Pacquiao? Hardly.

The majority of boxing writers and sports media in general have blamed Floyd for years for the fight not happening. I'd say that is indeed pressure....along with overdue taxes and going to jail! But you keep trying to explain his mindset and his right to take his stance lol.
