Dimitrenko has hired British trainer Scott Welch, a former professional boxer (22-4, 17KOs) who later became an actor. He had a role in the movie "Snatch" with Brad Pitt. As a pro, Welch fought for the WBO title and lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Henry Akinwande in 1997.
