Like I said years ago, Bob Arum has an agenda and Mayweather was never on it... However Bob will allow Pac to fight Mayweather right before Pac retires, to cash out.
Pac-tards, don't say real boxing fans haven't been saying this for years now....

That's why it took Mosley and Cotto 10 years to get a fight with Floyd. He only fights guys smaller, older, one dimensional, or past their prime. Manny has fought everyone; he doesn't need Floyd.
Shane could have gotten it in 2005-2006, but his tooth hurt remember??? Either way, Shane KO'd Margarito and Floyd kicked Shane's a$$.
Cotto could have gotten it in 2004-2006 as well, but I seem to remember Top Rank saying "Cotto isn't ready for Floyd" at that point. Cotto and Top Rank wanted no part of Floyd vs. Cotto after Floyd whupped Gatti's a$$ the way he did, that's a fact. Only when Floyd announced he was done after Hatton did they start the duck campaign against Floyd. Either way, Cotto and Floyd are fighting now at 154 where Cotto is a champ.
Manny and Floyd are both past their primes-still good. Where Hagler and Leonard were in 87' when they fought. Cotto is past his prime-still good as well, has been since the first Margarito fight.
Your stance on Floyd only fighting past prime and crappy fighters is ridiculous. It only proves that you haven't been watching the sport all that long, probably since you joined here. Manny has fought everyone??? Neither Floyd or Manny have fought absolutely everyone they possibly could at each weight.
Floyd didn't fight Lazcano, Johnston, Tszyu, Margarito, Williams.
Manny didn't fight Guzman, Raheem, Soto, Valero, Casamayor, Berto.
S**t happens.
Floyd's still beaten Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Carlos Gerena, Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo, Victoriano Sosa, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, and Victor Ortiz.
Manfredy, Corrales, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo, Sosa, Judah, Hatton, and Ortiz, all in their primes when Floyd fought them. Only Judah was coming off a recent loss when Floyd fought them.
Genaro, Gerena, Gatti, Baldomir, Marquez, and now Cotto, all past their prime-still good.
De La Hoya and Mosley were past their primes, but both were coming off good wins prior to fighting Floyd.
Manny's still beaten Chatchai Sasakul, Lehlo Ledwaba, Emmanuel Lucero, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Oscar Larios, Jorge Solis, Juan Manuel Marquez, David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Antonio Margarito, and Shane Mosley.
Sasakul, Ledwaba, Lucero, Barrera, Solis, and now Bradley, they were in their primes when Manny fought them.
Morales, Larios, Marquez, Diaz, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, they were past their primes-still good when Manny fought them. Morales and Larios were both coming off losses to other fighters right before fighting Manny though.
De La Hoya, Margarito, and Mosley, they were past their primes. All 3 were coming off losses, and De La Hoya was at 145 lbs, where he hadn't fought in 8 years.
Both have good resumes. Stop being bias.Last edited by 4Corners; 04-04-2012, 07:24 PM.

anyone except a foo/ can see that team pac is the one that is trying/making an honest attempt to make the fight happen.
btw, wtf sets a fight date and venue without even consulting with an opponant? thats not negotiating. how would mayweather react if team pac set a date without mayweather and challenged mayweather to accept a fight date and venue without him (mayweather) being involved in that process? i bet mayweater would go ballistic
