And, also because of the last name. Chavez being son of a legend and following in your father footsteps isn't easy. They will always compare you to him. And, when you're not on the level the criticism becomes bigger and louder.
You actually feel Chavez Jr is a better fighter than Canelo? Wow. I mean we're talking about the guy who was getting hit by 3-4 punch combinations flush by Sebastian Zbik, the guy who went to war with Matt Vanda. That dude is better than Canelo?

Chavez jr is absolutely better, and he has surprising gotten better and better...first he was big, slow, and useless..but it slowly turned into big, strong, durable, tough, and affective..and he got a little speed on em now

YOU make no sense, You say he has a "FAKE" Title but you want him to fight "Real Competition" for that fake title?

I don't know, Chavez Jr. is growing on me. He's one of the few dedicated body punchers in the sport, he's fun to watch, he continues to win as his competition gradually improves. His title is every bit as legit as Alvarez's.

I'm not arguing that, you can trash Canelo's opposition all day long I won't defend him, but to say that Chavez Jr is actually better...it feels like I'm in the twilight zone. I know I'm not the only who saw Martirosyan tap that ass in sparring :

Canelo was getting rocked by a blown up LW, having hell with Gomez, Canelo hasn't impressed me at all. I think Chavez has improves. Especially since Vanda, I think he has gotten better. Also think he has fought the better fighters.

Every bit? It's more legit. He won it against a rated fighter at 160. Canelo won it against somewhat who wasn't rated at a catch-weight of 150. Canelo winning his title is as legit as Pac winning his 8th title against Margarito. Which is not legit at all.

Sparring is just sparring. It really doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't make a big deal or a point from a sparring session.

What does getting rocked have to do with fighting ability?

Chavez has improved indeed, he went from C to B level.

But to a certain degree it can be an indicator of how good a fighter is. I don't care if Jr was holding back, you're not supposed to get your ass whooped like that if you're a worldclass fighter.

I think if you're letting guys like blown up LW in Cotto rock you the way he did has to do with ability. I don't think Cotto(and not the talented brother) could rock Floyd or Pac or the likes of Kirland, Molina etc etc...Because, of ability.

I agree Chavez is a B fighter while Canelo is a C+ to B- level fighter

Not sure, again it's sparring. Do we know the circumstances of that video? Do we know how long Chavez had been in camp compared to how long Vanes been training?

For example the infamous Spadafora and Mayweather sparring session. Spaddy had been in camp working his ass off training for a fight. Floyd really hadn't been in camp, hadn't been training. Spaddy got him in that sparring session.

Doesn't indicate that Spaddy is a better nor that Spadafora would beat him in a real boxing fight. I don't think Vanes could beat Chavez right now if they had a legit boxing fight.
