Well, whatever. Mr. Diaz is probably a good trainer. I saw that in the 24/7 with Margarito, that he was training Cotto to pivot and turn instead of going backwards. I thought that was a great thing. Unfortunately, I still saw him retreating with his hands down trying to avoid contact for a moment in that fight. What Mr. Diaz needs to be paying attention to was the way that Floyd was closing the distance on Omar Henry when he was retreating. That's what he should be paying attention to. Of course there's nothing to be impressed over when it comes to sparring. When it's time for battle, Cotto better not be skipping rope backwards in the ring with his hands down. Floyd will leap, lunge, and land. Cotto is too slow on his bike and Mayweather is the fastest thing on 2 legs so Mr. Diaz...I wish you and your fighter the best of luck. You guys have a very tough task ahead of you.

i think just the fact floyd is training for this huge fight and he is making faces to the camera during the rounds, and talking to omar henry tell you all you need to know, he is as relaxed and confident as ever.
his defence was really tight, almost every shot got blocked or parried. and he seemed to pick his shots really well as he always does.
from what i can tell, he seems sharp, quick and strong.
mayweather will dominate cotto

Damn people be riding Floyd's knob. This is just the mans trainer. LMAO @ Floyd hearing this and getting motivated. Really, people think that much into what Floyd thinks? I doubt even he does. Athletes all over the world train hard as ****. Floyd can't run and one-two punch like he might have before, can't take or deliver a stronger punch than Cotto and is going to be in some bad exchanges initiated by that stiff jab. Floyd needs a better sparring partner. Much better. Omar Henry hasn't done anyone justice in trying to beat Cotto. Won't change now. May 5th that 0 will go.

When fighting someone like Mayweather you have a better chance against him keeping quiet, and hoping he takes training easy. Don't rile him up. That's definitely the wrong thing to do!

One can actually argue bc Clottey has a great shell and Cotto won that fight seeing out one eye. Never quit. He ****s harder. Can move. Sticks that jab. Has the timing + speed to get through, guaranteed. He's going to be in and out with sweet combos while Floyd tries his left hook or pull counter, predictable. Watch. A lot of "fans" love Floyd because he cherry-picked his way to an undefeated record, thus far, and don't know anything else about this sport. My man has taken 7 dubs away to your boys 2. And fought way better competition. If Cheato didn't ruin Cotto's mental and career for so long it would have been a different story. He knows he got cheated though. He been unstoppable since 140. Still knocking out cats bigger than him. Boxed the boxer - Foreman. Cracked the fighter, Mayorga, who is very awkward. And got revenge. Delirious and pure Cotto hatred to think the eye was what won. But I can see why he has haters. Sorry, you will be shocked bc of your ignorance. No respectable boxing fan would be counting Cotto out like that. It's Cotto's time again and he knows it. May 5th will be the 8th undefeated fighter Cotto takes out.
