If Sergio had to choose between Floyd or Chavez...

Let's say Mayweather wins his fight against Cotto and contacts Martinez and around the same time, Arum and Dibella came to an agreement. Who do you think Sergio would fight? Who do you think he should fight?

From Sergio's perspective, I would take the Floyd fight. That's where the money is but not only that. He doesn't have much of a fan base, which is why I believe he should fight Floyd. He will get a lot of exposure from this fight.

But from a fans perspective, I would love to see Sergio vs Chavez. Just because I want to see Sergio beat Chavez.

I think he WOULD fight Floyd, but I think he SHOULD fight Chavez. The risk:reward ratio is better. He doesn't have to move down in weight, he gets his WBC title back, and Chavez is easier to beat than Floyd.

Who would fight Chavez, over Mayweather...Sergio will be apart of history, taking the MOST imPORTANT Asswhoopin in Mayweather's career....Floyd beating Sergio will be ATG Status, and Sergio gets the chance to be apart of it....after he loses, Chavez will fight him faster, since he likes fighting bums

There's not even any kind of doubt here. . . He would pick Mayweather. . . Why? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. . . . That simple. . . Sergio is no "pound for pound people's champ". . . He's just like every other fighter - he wants to make the most money possible; preferably the easiest way possible - but when you have a fight with one of the only two fighters in the sport who is pretty much guaranteed to generate a million PPV buys, there's just no question to it. . .

Even with a crazy 85-15 split (which would make sense cause SErgio can't draw flies to shyt), Sergio would still be making at least 5 times more than he's ever made before.

            Floyd of course.

You talking about a guy who would fight a WW at 154 but won't fight a 154lb'er at 154lbs. He wonts him at 160.

All this Sergio small **** is a host.

Sergio was 167 on fight night against Barker, 165 against Pavlik, 171 against Dizzy.

11lbs being his highest weight game, for a middleweight. THATS INCREDIBLY SMALL.

Victor ortiz was 165 at 147
kermit cintron was 174 at 147
Joshue Clottey was 170 at 147
                ....

                Kelly pavlik was 178
                Chavez jr was 180, 183 then 181
                Barker was 175

Dude, I can do this all day. Serg is small, he even weighed in at 157 and still had slight handles above his hip bones. He could make 154 so comfortably it's frightening.

and just for the sake of putting it out there

at 154 sergio was known to hydrate up to 162-4ish.

he was 164 to Cintrons 170,
                he was 162 against bunema

I agree Floyd, more money is the key. If Martinez sits around and waits for these guys, he will be wasting much of his career though. He should get busy while he can and bank as many reasonable defences as he can. It isn't hard to see neither of these champs are eager to fight him now.
