How do you Americans think he will fare against the likes of Floyd Mayweather? I have never seen Mayweather fight but I understand he is one of those talented, young, quick American fighters (in the mould of R.J.Jr, Jermaine Taylor, etc). What would Hatton have to do to beat him?

I am a Hatton fan from America, but I can see why some people here do not like him. It really has nothing to do with Hatton himself, but some of his fans. See the Klitschko's for evidence.

If your a fan of Hatton, then Great. He seems good for the sport. Those who do not like Hatton do NOT have to explain themselves to anyone, and making so many threads about it will only creat more haters.

Some people just do not like his style or think he is dirty, so what! You are not going to change their minds by calling people racist. This is not against any one poster, just the posts in general.

Then again, if ya keep it up, you might be able to catch up to Wlad for Hate time on the 1st page

When people call Hatton a "dirty" fighter, it is obvious that they have only seen Tszyu and now Maussa. Even with Maussa's style during those fights, He was clinching and punching allowing the guy to punch back.

Boxing isn't a sissy sport and if you want to see young muscular men prouncing around then go watch ballet.

I dont want to see boxers getting rabbit punched. That's very dangerous. If Hatton hasnt fought dirty, except from his past 2 fights, why the change?

Totally agree, both Maussa and Tszyu fought equally dirty and I would argue that they fought dirtier than Hatton.

Ricky adapts his style to suit his opponent, lets face facts most expected him to lose to Tszyu not make him quit on his stool, Maussa is a knightmare opponent bur Ricky won every round and knocked him out cold!

Hatton wont lose any sleep over some of the comments on here, after all he holds two of the main titles!

                    Stop complaining,
I understand that in the ring with the fighters is a referee...and his job is to make sure the rules are obeyed...
So I suppose all the refferees are biased in favour of Hatton are they?

Hatton will always be talked down by our American friends , because they don't like getting their arses whipped by a small wet & windy island off the coast of Europe..

Tough Titty Yanks.....Your soon going to run out of excuses

Lots of top-tier guys fight "dirty", including Hatton. It's not like I'm trying to slight the guy, it's just a fact that he fights a "dirty" style. He likes to offer his opponents a wicked head rub and often leads with his head. He certainly does rabbit punch (much like Hopkins) and he also pushes hard with hiselbows occassionally.

I'm not complaining though. It's the state of the game. It's not like were talking 'bout Golota here.

Until Hatton starts getting a few DQ's, instead of KO's, I'm not willing to condemn him for his version of "dirty". It's not like he invented this stuff.
