Time For Juanma To Retire

Juanma's technique looks flat out horrible, he is so slow I could see his punches coming from my couch and he gets rocked by every punch that lands on him. He tried to box Salido but his technique was so garbage he could not do it and his punches are always so sloppy and with no cordination. I think is time to retire and move on to other things because his career wont get any easier when he eventually moves up in weight.

Not every fighter is great. Doesn't mean they have to retire. If Lopez starts getting knocked out or dropped a lot, and his health becomes a serious concern, then we can have this conversation.

I might be streching it but is not just he lost 2 fights is the way he looks even when he wins. Go back to his fight with Oliver and you will see what I mean. When someone gets rocked by every punch his opponent lands you know something is wrong with that guy.

I think it is the style matchup and Salido himself. Juanma looked slow because he was a bit afraid because of what happened in the first fight. As soon as he went back to his old ways, he got ripped and it was repeated. Salido is just a bad style, I think Juanma can still *** **** up. As far as his defense, he really wasn't that great to begin with. I think he should stay away from Salido, Garcia and Broner. Everyone else in the weight class he has a good chance with. Sure, he isn't the best fighter but he is still a solid fighter that can win good fights.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Why? the dude was throwing punches like he was underwater. When is the last time we've seen that? Margarito?? Also, his punch resistance is on Roy Jones status, maybe even worse. Juanma gets buzzed so easy. If he moves up in weight, it might help his punch resistance. However, his opposition will have more power than Salido does, so he'll still be in trouble.

Juanma is gonna start fighting for his pride now. The next person that drops him is gonna snatch that too. Juanma is on the edge of his career now, getting KO'ed by the same person twice in your hometown will do that to you. His inflammatory statements at the end prove why he will not get better.
