Because its a tax write off. Not because they want to.

Looks like Manny and Floyd have more in common then they thought. Also might be something to motivate him to want the fight more and pressure Arum into making it.

US tax laws are the fuccking worst, who would model their after the US is insane.
I have a good idea of the tax situation in us. Compared to pi, it is tax heaven. Lolz. At equiv of 1k usd, you pay 32% in tax. It is ok if you got a good return but... ****ty roads, outdated infrastructure, virtually inexistent public education and healthcare.

Anyhow, i believe this is more or less a political issue. Our current president is on a rampage for those connected to the previous admin. Too long to explain. Besides, it is Pi problem.

you're adding to the report. it only mentioned "discrepancies" and nothing more.

and even if these so called discrepancies show manny actually not paying the proper taxes, all it takes is have the accountants do what they do and pay the fines if any.

          problem solved.

maybe you guys are making this such an issue because you are thinking with the american mindset with your hellish tax laws that nobody fully understands.

we in the philippines are more fortunate in having more lenient tax laws that allow taxpayers more leeway in adjusting erring tax payments.

no government is perfect. but yeah, we have an unfortunate situation of having an ABNOY for prez.

nonetheless, it hasn't prevented DAVAO from being one of the most liveable cities! (obviously where i'm from)

unfortunate is when you CAN"T vote for your president. Be happy you can. Although you want somebody else up there, it's called democracy, majority wins. too bad. too late for sourgraping.
