Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield, Yorkshire - British heavyweight veteran Matt Skelton (26-6, 21KOs) scored a deadly fifth round stoppage over Tom Dallas (15-2, 11KOs). After outboxing Dallas over most of the fight, Skelton started blasting Dallas with hard punches against the ropes. Dallas was slumped over backwards with half of his body hanging outside of the ring, and Skelton unloaded with hard punches. The referee took a little too long to jump in to wave it off and the fight was stopped at 1:00.
