According to TMZ, WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has been officially charged with three misdemeanors by the Los Angeles City Attorney - two charges for drunk driving and one for driving without a valid license. The charges are related to Chavez's January 22 arrest by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. He was arrested at 4:38am when his car was pulled over and the officer smelled a heavy odor of alcohol in the card. He booked at the Los Angeles County Jail at 7:19am and released with a citation at 10:25am. Chavez has to appear at Los Angeles Superior Court on March 16th.
