I'm putting my money on Cotto. It's a risk worth taking, so I'll go with my dark horse. Haters can suck it harddddd. If this was a younger Floyd then I honestly wouldn't even consider the variables. Prime for prime, May was always going to be too sharp.
At present everything has literally fallen in place for Miguel. His hand is stacked right now ... if he can't be versatile and find real opportunities to derail Mayweather(and believe me, there will be quite a few) then he's just not Miguel.
While I respect Floyd to the fullest and I'm sure everyone understands he is the superior technician, what it comes down to is grit--and Floyd will respect the man's resolve up until the final bell. I couldn't think of a deadlier gamble for the pound for pound king. Even a clash with Manny, back in 2010 would've deemed less competitive. Against a gladiator who's been to hell and back, Cotto skill set is still very much overlooked following 2xL at the hands of two opportunists. "Money's" personal life will take it's toll. The right hands can keep crashing like waves, Floyd just doesn't/won't possess the strength nor workrate to break Cotto. Mentally or physically.
I only frown upon those temp. bandwagoners who, if victorious will instantly slander Cotto's success by smearing Pacquiao's name all over the win. To those sheep I say good riddance, and bring on the Filipino at 154. **** just got real son.
