Because why risk 10% when you can have the 5% guaranteed?

In this case lets say the fight generates $100 mil. So a 45-45-10 split would only guarantee them 45 mil with 10 mil in the air. So Why would Anyone gamble with the 10 mil when they can just have 5 mil no problem.

Thats how i see it at least

        Thats what I figured.

        Pride is a funny thing.

If you think about it, the loser not only loses the fight, but gets less money.

But when we talkin' 'bout hundreds of millions, its really hard to turn down imo.

because it will compromise the outcome of the fight during the fight. If you had the winner getting a certain %, it will cause all sorts of problems for a fighter ahead or behind in a fight.

If you thought boxers who get on their bikes after getting ahead in a fight, imagine if you put a certain % to the winner. Its a BAD BAD idea. You want boxers fighting without having too much in their mind especially % splits DURING A FIGHT. Its not a a good look and it will cause complications and challenge the credibility of your sport, the boxer, and the promoter.

Thats' my opinion on it. That's why it has never happened and it never it will.

ESPN has Skip Bayless doing commentary on Boxing in order to cater to a specific crowd. Their polls has have no merit.

and espn always have some afro centric across from skip. it evens out. As for the polls, you act as if skip is voting. its espn, the biggest and most prominent sports site in all of america. Their polls have more merit than bscene which is filled with biased dishonest repugnant hardcore boxing fans.

Sports nation/ESPN are representative of what mainstream majority sports fans of america. It has more merit than your whole existence.
